Companion workbook designed to enhance study of Kanji in Context [Revised Edition]

[Overview]

Vol. 2 of this two-part set provides kanji word practice for the Level 4–7 Joyo Kanji (No. 1201–2136) studied in the textbook.
Learners study their use in context and in relationship to associated words/expressions, and check their mastery of the characters’ readings. The key words are highlighted in bold so that learners with limited time can find them easier for priority study.

Unit structure
The kanji are divided into 62 lessons covering 10–15 characters each, and every lesson is divided into the three sections described below. In each section the kanji words are studied in context and in relationship to associated words/expressions, and the learner’s mastery of their reading is checked.
 I. Study of basic usage of the kanji words
II. Study of how the meaning of the target kanji word is connected with the meaning of related words
III. Study of the kanji words in the context of example sentences
